Jaded provides a platform for users to engage in conversations with friends or connect with new individuals while creating their own channels. The service offers a clear distinction between public channels, which are open and accessible to everyone, and private channels, which require an invitation to join.

Users are granted significant autonomy in the management of their created channels, allowing them to tailor the environment of their chatrooms according to their preferences.

In terms of user experience, Jaded incorporates features that contribute to a more controlled and secure interaction. If a user finds the content shared by another individual undesirable, they have the options to block or report that user. This can be done either through the user search menu or by long-pressing on a specific message. Additionally, reporting a channel is facilitated through a similar long-press action on any channel that does not belong to the user.
